It starts at the Volta Muntanya Sagrada track and at the height of Llac de La Molina, we leave the track and take a trace that, inside the forest, will take us to Cap de Comella, where the itinerary ends. Although the route runs through the heart of the ski resort, we will feel as if we are climbing through a lost forest in the Pyrenees.

The ascent, although a little more technical than the Alabau itinerary, is ideal for a start in the world of mountain skiing.

It is the longest route presented. In the more than 10 km of the route we can enjoy an authentic ascent with mountain skis. The itinerary starts on the Volta a Muntanya Sagrada track.

We will continue, a short stretch, along the track of Coll de Pal, until we find the trace that goes to the right.

This will take us to the highest point of the station, La Tosa d'Alp, where the itinerary ends. Along the way we will find flat areas, stretches of forest with conversions and open terrain with gentle and not so gentle slopes.

Good views are guaranteed and with a little luck, we can enjoy the company of some isard.

    • ALABAU track

Starting point: Base Alabau TSD 1.830m

Arrival Point: Cap de les Costes de l'Huguet 2.199m

      Slope (+): 369

      Length: 5238

      Difficulty: low

      Cannon Innivation: No

      Estimated climb time: 1h 30 '

This itinerary pas along the easternmost part of the La Molina ski resort. It has a distance and an unevenness, ideal for starting in the world of mountain ski

The route begins next to the Alabau chairlift. The first part of the route is flat, until you reach the Clot de Hospital. At this point the slope gradually increases, never being very steep. This is an ideal stretch to perfect your conversions.

The itinerary at all times pas through an open area without trees. This fact allows us to enjoy fantastic views of the Cerdanya and the Ripollès. After this point we reach the final part of the climb, where the slope decreases. On a gentle slope we come to the top of the Torrent Negre, where this route ends.

      Cannon Innivation: Yes

      Estimated Ascent Time: 2h 30 '

Ascension very varied and beautiful. It is the route, of the presented ones, where we climb more unevenness in less distance. This fact tells us that of the four itineraries, this is the most technically demanding, without being difficult.

The start is the same as in the Marmota itinerary, but when you reach the height of the Olímpica track, go up it until the trace goes to the right.

The terrain gets a little more inclined, we will climb for a while below the gondola where the trail goes into a beautiful, straight pine forest. It is the most demanding area of the ascent and perhaps the most beautiful. After this section, the forest gives way to an open terrain where we will have to cross a ski slope. At this point, we will have to be careful and respectful, as we will find skiers in the opposite direction.

The route will take us to the top of the Tosa d'Alp, from where we can enjoy magnificent views of the Cerdanya, Berguedà and Ripollès, as well as spectacular mountains such as the Cadí mountain range, the Pedraforca and the mountains of Montserrat.
