  • Conditions and Regulations for the use of the facilities and the mountain ski pass at the FGC Turisme ski resorts

Written in collaboration by the Federació d'Entitats Excursionistes de Catalunya (FEEC) and FGC

  • Article 1 - During opening hours to the public

    • It is necessary to use, as far as possible, the itineraries marked by the resort, specific for downhill skiing. When it is not possible due to lack of snow and it is necessary to use the track of the resort, it is necessary to climb in a row, always watching the skiers who go down. When possible, drive behind the cannon line or the delimitation beacons of the mountain track.
    • Avoid the narrowest tracks on days and hours of maximum influx of users on the tracks.
    • Do not stop or cross the tracks in places with low visibility (such as grade changes, two-track junctions and bends without visibility, among others). If you stop, do it off the track (behind the cannon line or boundary beacons)
    • It is necessary to stay at a certain distance from the departure and arrival areas of ski lifts, to ensure your own safety and that of third parties.
    • Follow the tips for winter mountain safety activities and rules published on the FEEC website. www.feec.cat/fem-muntanya/seguretat/
    • Do not bring pets, tied or untied, during the practice of downhill skiing on the ski slopes.
    • Prior to the activity, it is necessary to consult the indications relating to the access points marked by the station and its characteristics, as well as the weather forecasts.
    • Check the weather and scale and avalanche hazard flags in the area. It is necessary to consult the Track Service on closed tracks and areas where avalanche preventive triggers are carried out at the station. If they will be held in the next few hours and in which areas. You must find out on the FEEC website, where the information provided by FGC will be sent, of the areas where winch work is usually carried out and also of the recommended points of departure for each station.
    • Care must be taken to ensure that avalanches can be prevented 24 hours a day.
    • Avoid closed tracks during the period of operation of the stations if the reason for the closure may affect one's own safety or that of third parties.
    • On the descent you must follow the rules of the FIS (International Ski Federation). www.atudem.es/20151028/Normas-FIS.aspx

Article 2 - Outside opening hours to the public

In addition to the recommendations in Article 1, the following shall apply:

    • You must always go down the side of the track and at a reduced speed so as not to damage the work of the drivers.
    • Avoid driving on tracks where there are snowplows, especially if they are using the winch, given the extreme danger of the cable.
    • You must always wear a lighted front with good lighting capacity and use reflective accessories.
    • Vehicles must be parked in the spaces provided for this purpose.
  • Article 3 - On the Responsibility of the user

    • The mountain skier who enters a ski resort is responsible for their own safety and is required to comply with the rules set out in this document.
  • Breathe nature into our mountains
