FGC Turisme has designed a prevention plan in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure that both users and staff at mountain resorts are in a safe environment. A series of measures have been defined in terms of prevention and awareness that will be applied to the 6 resorts of the group: La Molina, Vall de Núria, Espot Esquí, Port Ainé, Vallter 2000 and Boí Taüll.
In this line, to guarantee the quality of these measures, we are working to certify the processes in the stations with the entity AENOR as well as to obtain the seal of the Institute for the Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE), " Safe Tourism Certified ”.
You will find here all the hygienic and sanitary measures that we have put in place and our advice to ensure maximum safety and tranquility during your visit.
It will be implemented across all stations and the automated check-in service at the stations will be strengthened with the incorporation of new vending machines and the collection of ski passes and tickets at the different accesses to the station.
Visitors will find all the news of the station in the mobile applications of the stations: purchase of ski passes, state of opening of services or consultations in the map of tracks. The aim is to prevent the concentration of users in the information spaces and to reduce the use and manipulation of paper.
Capacity will not be limited to the ski lifts, following the recommendations of the Catalan Association of Ski Resorts and Mountain Activities (ACEM), but the use of a mask in this type of transport is mandatory.
Book online at stores to rent and disinfect the material after each individual use.
The capacity of the different restaurant spaces will be controlled and hygiene and safety measures will be applied, both for the customer and for the working staff.
The experience of visiting mountain resorts is complementary to stays in the territory, which also carry out measures to prevent the spread of Covid19 to ensure the safety of all visitors to tourist areas, restaurants and accommodation.
And if the stations close, what happens?
This year, and given the uniqueness of the situation caused by the Covid-19, new cancellation conditions have been provided for the purchase of seasonal ski passes at FGC stations.
A compensation policy has been approved for customers purchasing this product from those resorts who are unable to offer 90 days of skiing during the season due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In these cases, the partial refund of the amount of the season ticket in the form of an exchangeable balance for the purchase of the season ticket for the following season is contemplated.
The balance to be refunded is defined in proportion to the days of use of each ski pass and the type of season ticket.
It will be mandatory to cover the face with a mask, or with an approved cap, for children over 6 years old in ski lifts, waiting areas and on boarding mechanical installations. As well as in enclosed spaces, buildings and common areas such as restaurants, shops, customer service points and ticket offices.
Buy and book online and use ticket collection machines and automatic validators.
Wash your hands often and make use of the hydroalcoholic gels at your disposal.
Try to maintain safe distances with other users in the facilities and common areas.
We work so you can enjoy the snow again without worries.
