The 103rd edition of La Volta Ciclista a Catalunya will have 7 stages of which two will pass through FGC Turisme terrain, with Vallter and Port Ainé as great scenarios.

The Vallter mountain resort will host the end of the second stage, on March 19, and will be the start of the Pyrenean days of this year's edition. It will start in Mataró and end in Vallter/ Setcases (Vall de Camprodon), with a total route of 186.5 km. The departure is scheduled at 12:30 and the arrival between 17:00 and 17:30.

The route begins in the city of Mataró, with a spectacular walk along the Catalan coast. The stage will reach the city of Girona around kilometre 75, where a trip to the Catalan interior will begin by passing through cities such as Banyoles or Olot before starting the climb towards the Coll de Coubet, from where they will start the ascent to Vallter with a positive slope of more than a thousand meters.

The last 10 kilometres will be especially hard, with a constant climb to the arrival line in Vallter, at 2,135 meters of altitude.

This stage will be a good opportunity for climbers to show their strength and take the initiative in the general one.
