After the start of the season on June 14, the resort is 100% full with the opening of aquatic activities, the Cap de Comella chairlift and the launch of new spaces and proposals for all audiences.
A diversification of experiences to enjoy the mountains, sports, gastronomy and nature with innovative activities and augmented reality.
The summer season in La Molina culminates in July, when the Girona resort activates all of its proposals. This milestone marks the point at which all services and activities are fully operational, guaranteeing a complete summer experience for all visitors.
This weekend, La Molina has launched Metapark, an innovative proposal for the Fauna Route that offers an immersive hiking experience with augmented reality. Visitors will be able to see, hear, learn about and even take photos with the most emblematic fauna of the Pyrenees. This route, suitable for all audiences due to its low difficulty (2 km and 100 m of elevation gain), is open every day of the year and lasts between one and two hours. All you need is a mobile phone or a rented tablet.
The Lake area has also opened, an epicenter of fun with a varied offer of water and sports activities. Visitors can rent kayaks and water scooters, as well as innovative water bikes, which allow you to explore the lake in a unique and original way while exercising. They are suitable for children from 1.50 m in height. The youngest will have children's electric bikes for boys and girls from 3 to 8 years old, ideal for starting out in the world of cycling. The area is also complemented by a sports circuit, volleyball court and disc golf activity, ensuring options for all tastes and ages.
Visitors to La Molina can also now access the Cap de Comella chairlift, which will be in operation during the weekends in July. From July 21st, this lift will be open to the public daily until August 31st, with one important exception: between July 18th and August 3rd, its use will be exclusive for rides and for riders of the Spanish and European DH Championships that will be held at the resort.
Summer activities in La Molina
Since June 14th, La Molina has been offering a wide range of activities to enjoy the mountain. You can go up with the Cadí-Moixeró Gondola, which offers spectacular views. Nature lovers can explore the new itineraries for hiking, mountain biking and e-bikes, or explore the nature and mine circuits, signposted and with the option of a guide to learn about the local flora and fauna. The Bike Park has been expanded with the new ComellaDH circuit in the area of the TSD Cap de Comella, an additional challenge for more experienced cyclists. This circuit will be operational once the DHI European Championships have been held.
For the little ones, the resort has activities such as the Fauna Interpretation Route, fun Tubbing, a refreshing heated pool, trampolines and jumping, and the Adventure Park in the Trees, in addition to excursions and Segway routes. La Molina also stands out for its Adapted Sports Center (CEA), a space where people with disabilities can enjoy activities such as adapted mountain bike routes, access to the Adventure Park or the Gondola ride, reaffirming its commitment to universal accessibility.
