Yvan Estienne, born in a valley near the Ecrins alpine massif, was destined to be a worker in an alpine valley or a shepherd. The passion for the mountains and the desire for discovery make him dream of a trip to Antarctica. He was finally able to experience the mythical places visited by the intrepid adventurers of the early 20th century.
