On October 4th, a new edition of the Salomon Ultra Pirineu 100K® 2025, one of the most demanding trail running events on the calendar, will take place. This year, the race will feature a new route, which has been adapted due to the renovation work at the Niu de l’Àliga Refuge.

This season, the checkpoint and refreshment point will be located at the Cadí-Moixeró Cable Car Intermediate Station (2,352 m). To get there, the original route will deviate at kilometer 16 and, after passing through the intermediate station, will climb to Niu de l’Àliga (kilometer 18), where it will reconnect with the original route of the race. This change only represents an increase of 1.5 kilometers and 150 meters of positive elevation gain compared to the initial route, thus maintaining the essence of the event.
