The race is back with new dates and new challenges.
This 2023 we are opening a new date for the Olla de Núria, to be consistent with the message of sustainability that characterizes us, and to act in accordance with the premises of the Capçaleres del Ter i el Freser Natural Park. New date to guarantee peace of mind for the breeding period of the white partridge.
Friday 6 October will be the start of an intense weekend made up of 5 different tests. We start with the Olla Nocturna, where 12 kilometers are covered, a race with a circuit similar to the classic Olla de Núria, but with the essence of the high mountain in its pure state, darkness.
Saturday October 7 will be the turn of the Olla Vertical with departure from the Santuari de Núria and arrival at the emblematic summit of Puigmal, 4 agonizing kms where the 970m of positive gradient that separates the departure from the arrival will have to be overcome .
And finally and as a highlight, on Sunday October 8th the Olla de Núria will be held, starting at 9:00 am for all the participants of the Olla Clàssica and the Junior Olla, 21km and 1900m of positive gradient, without any meter of asphalt and self-sufficient. The race takes place in an idyllic setting such as Vall de Núria, in the Girona Pyrenees. An environment that is preserved from the race, impacting the environment as little as possible, generating a minimum of waste.
A Catalan trail running party where even just enjoying the atmosphere of the esplanade is worth it, and if you are lucky enough to run one of its modes, even more so!
