The work on the complex of buildings, located at the top of La Tosa, at an altitude of 2,537 meters, also includes the construction of a new multipurpose room connected to the restaurant, a large terrace and the rearrangement of the accesses. Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, the Real Federación Española Deportes de Invierno and the Federació Catalana d’Esports d’Hivern are promoting a training day with the aim of improving active and passive safety on training slopes. This plan will consist of three distinct phases, which will include a face-to-face day in Barcelona, ​​an online training day and, to conclude, a technical practice on snow at one of FGC's ski and mountain resorts.

Under the leadership of the Loser Surfers organization, the initiative has the support of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, the Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, and the collaboration of the Espot Esquí and Port Ainé ski and mountain resorts. The FGC TURISME resorts in the Pallars Sobirà region reaffirm their environmental commitment, focusing waste collection in parking lots and accesses to maximize the visual and ecological impact.

Serra, who has been manager of the Ripoll resort for 18 years, is fully integrated into the Business and Strategy department of FGC Turisme to promote the transversal work of this department across all Ferrocarrils tourist operations. Torres, who has been linked to Vallter for more than 15 years, will be the first woman to manage a ski resort in the Spanish Pyrenees.

The competition, an international benchmark, maintains its demanding classic route and includes the Vertical Olla de Núria as a prelude to the sports weekend. The Olla de Núria, organized by the Unió Excursionista de Vic, has more than 900 participants this year for the entire weekend. This new edition underlines FGC's commitment to sport and the promotion of the Catalan Pyrenees by positioning it as an international benchmark, both in the winter and summer seasons.

The emblematic skyrunning event, organized by the MadTeam Hiking Club, features four renovated circuits for all categories, with departure and arrival at the Ripolla mountain station, managed by Ferrocarrils. This benchmark race in the Pyrenees offers a high mountain challenge without asphalt, with unevenness and height, culminating at the summit of Bastiments and promising strong emotions.

The power has been increased to 840 kWt, which will allow for a saving of 200,000 liters of diesel per year and stop emitting 550 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere each year. Ferrocarrils is also completing the work to improve the energy efficiency of the buildings, which will mean a saving of 78% of the energy for heating. Vall de Núria celebrates the festival of Sant Gil, patron saint of shepherds, with religious, recreational and gastronomic activities.
