Visitors will only have access with previous online purchase of the ski pass and the stations will have limited capacity.
The FGC six winter and mountain resorts are complying with a prevention plan certified by AENOR that accredits them as safe spaces for Covid-19.
The Catalan public and private mountain resorts have agreed, with the coordination of the Catalan Association of Ski Resorts and Mountain Activities (ACEM), to open its facilities progressively from Monday 14 December.
The six FGC mountain resorts (La Molina, Vall de Núria, Espot, Port Ainé, Vallter 2000 and Boí Taüll) will open their facilities by applying prevention and safety measures to Covid19 to guarantee users the condition of safe sport to their destinations. In this sense, it should be noted that FGC mountain stations have the AENOR quality certificate as safe spaces in front of the Covidien-19.
Specific measures and limitations applied for use and visit to mountain resorts
Due to the need to establish a control on the maximum daily number of people using the resorts to prevent a concentration of people, it has been agreed to apply the following measures:
Capacity control at the mountain resorts
The daily influx will be limited to the mountain stations, establishing an access control to the facilities regulated by a maximum of specific daily places for each resort. This will allow users to make use of the facilities without crowding or crowding. Only people who have previously purchased a seasonal or day pass or a rack train ticket valid for the specific day on which you want to visit the resort will be able to access.
A specific control will be carried out in the areas of access to ski lifts, information points, equipment rental centers and catering services to order the flow of visitors and ensure that in all cases the minimum safety distances between people are respected.
Exclusive sale of ski passes and tickets through online stores
For the purchase of season or day passes, as well as zip tickets, people who want to visit the stations will have to make the purchase through the online stores of the stations. The physical points of sale of the stations will not in any case sell these products and will only be operational as complementary collection points to the automatic collection machines for purchases previously made online.
Users who can benefit from reduced rates applicable to large families and people with functional diversity will be able to go directly to the physical points of sale of FGC mountain resorts to buy their tickets or ski passes.
Other Services (F&B and equipment rental)
There will be operational catering services at the stations that will apply the capacity restrictions and other preventive measures that are mandatory for them according to the instructions of the competent authorities. The own material rental centers will also be operational following the COVID19 prevention measures established in the station prevention plan, ensuring a safe distance.
