It is a historic track that originated in 1954

La Molina recovers the historic Barcelona track, a black track that will join the resort's highest elevation, El Niu de l'Àliga, at 2,537m, with the base of the resort (1,660m). Aimed at an expert audience, the track has a length of 4,750 meters and a gradient of 859 positive meters.

During the summer, it has been conditioned and adapted to current skiing standards and has been remodeled to make it more attractive to the skiing public both in terms of leisure and competition. Among the tasks that have been carried out are the conditioning of the land, the placement of 73 snow machines to guarantee the production of snow, the installation of anchorages for machines and windbreaks, the preparation of the track for competition and the incorporation of protections and security measures.

The Barcelona track has been part of the Tosa ski domain since 1954, coinciding with the expansion of La Molina towards Tosa with the construction of the cable car of Puig d'Alp. In addition, in the 70s it was the scene of several competitions.

This winter season 2022-2023, the resort will have 71 kilometers of tracks and 66 tracks (20 green, 18 blue, 22 red, and 6 black).
